The Second World Broadcasters Meeting organised by HBS was held on 11-12 December 2005 in Munich (Germany) at the Hilton Park Hotel.

AGENDA

The WBM2 consisted of two days of plenary sessions on 11-12 December, with a special session for newcomers who did not attend WBM1. The morning session provided newcomers with essential information prior to the Day 1 Plenary session. Ahead of the Booking Deadline for first-round matches on 13 December, HBS hosted a Booking Workshop on 11 December to address any issues Broadcast Partners had.

The two-day session was followed by three days dedicated to unilateral meetings with HBS representatives on 13-15 December.

In addition, Broadcast Partners were able to meet representatives from Infront Sports and Media, OC 2006, T-Systems and other partners.

HBS also organised an IBC site visit as well as a Munich Stadium visit.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the Second World Broadcasters Meeting began once Broadcast Partners received a formal invitation from the HBS Booking Department via email. Broadcast Partners have been provided a specific web address ("HBS secured area").

ACCOMMODATION

HBS negotiated a limited number of rooms at an advantageous rate for Broadcast Partners attending the WBM2 in the Hilton Park Munich (the location of the WBM2) or its sister hotel, the Hilton City Munich.
