August 2011 saw the start of the 4th season for HBS as the Host Broadcaster of the French League 1 which has kicked off again successfully. As was the case last season, HBS is also providing, on behalf of the Ligue de Football Professionnel, the coverage of French League 2, including the main match on Monday evening which is also being produced by HBS France Production - the dedicated “French League” HBS company.

Work for the Ligue de Football Professionnel is supported by the same dedicated core team that has been slightly reorganised with the nomination of Luc Antoine Charial as the new Project Director for HBS.

As a reminder, Host Broadcast Services (HBS) was officially announced on 27 March 2008 as the host broadcaster for the first division of the French Football League for the four upcoming seasons.

HBS works closely with the LFP, the clubs and the domestic rights-holders – Canal + and Orange – as well as international broadcasters to provide all the necessary production refinements and services, including a feed dedicated to mobile phones.
