Other FIFA events

As well as being appointed by FIFA as the Host Broadcaster for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ and the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017, HBS is also involved in the cycle of Other FIFA Events (OFEs).

HBS’ role on the OFEs varies from coordination, to producing specifications for a local Host Broadcaster, to organising all aspects of the broadcast operations and providing support to FIFA TV and the LOC. 

HBS’ previous experience handling FIFA’s OFEs during the 2007-2010 cycle took in events in locations as varied as Chile, New Zealand, Nigeria, Canada, Brazil, South Korea, China and France. The 2011-2014 cycle visited Mexico, Germany, Colombia, Italy, Japan, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Tahiti, United Arab Emirates, Costa Rica and Canada.
