Dear Broadcast Partners, Colleagues and Friends,

As the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™ is set to come to an end tonight, I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to all those people who have made this tournament a great broadcasting success story. I specifically want to thank:

• All of the Broadcast Partners who transmitted the tournament throughout the world. Your feedback helped us to improve immensely.

• T-Systems Media&Broadcast, for making broadcast history by providing a flawless telecommunications network.

• The Local Organising Committee, especially Wolfgang Niersbach, Gerd Graus and Manfred Martens, who worked tirelessly to make all of our times in Germany as easy as possible.

• FIFA, in particular Markus Siegler, Alain Leiblang and all FMOs, for providing excellent support for all of us.

• The HBS staff, core team and event-time, interns and trainees, for all their hard work and dedication.

• Infront Sports & Media, whose BP servicing division did its utmost to ensure BP satisfaction, and in Infront’s capacity as HBS’ shareholder, a very special thanks to Dominik Schmid, without whom none of this would have been possible.

HBS is proud of the innovations it introduced at this tournament and looks forward to bringing new improvements to its host broadcasting duties at the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™. I hope to see you all there and wish you the best of luck in your respective fields until then. Tschüss!

Sincerely,

Francis Tellier
