The Preliminary Draw for the FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010™ will be held on Sunday 25 November at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC) in Durban, South Africa.

HBS is the Host Broadcaster for the Preliminary Draw and takes care of all bookings and deliveries of unilateral services such as commentary, interview and stand-up positions, as well as handling the satellite distribution. A Catalogue of Services was issued on 1 October (and is available in the download section of the HBS website); the booking deadline for these services was 31 October. SABC (South African Broadcasting Corporation) will produce the international feed.

All the following times are local time (GMT+2).

The Draw Show will begin at 17:00 and end around 18:45; it will be conducted in English and will feature world-class entertainment from a variety of African stars. The Draw Show will be preceded by a red carpet arrival, footage will be made available in the pre-show.

Accreditation for Media Rights Licensees (MRLs) is managed by the FIFA Broadcaster Servicing Team and is now open.

The first FIFA Broadcaster Information Meeting (BIM) for the FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010™ will take place on the previous day, Saturday 24 November, from 15:00 to 17:00. All MRLs attending the Preliminary Draw are invited to attend the BIM.
