HBS has been busy working on two events in Asia with the completion of the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Korea on 9 September and the start, just 24 hours later, of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in China, concluding on 30 September.

The first FIFA Event of 2007 concluded on 22 July with the successful delivery of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada, where 24 teams competed across six host cities and venues.

Following on from a successful 2006 which saw the acclaimed delivery of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ and the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006, HBS is continuing its involvement at the forefront of the planning and delivery of high-class events across the globe throughout 2007.

The year 2006 proved to be very successful for HBS and its teams, the pinnacle being the acclaimed delivery of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™ where the impressive broadcast numbers reflect the scale of the event - more than 2,200 broadcast hours, almost 500 TV and radio broadcast partners representing 214 countries for almost 100 New Media Partners. For the first time ever, the World Cup has been fully produced in HDTV and featured in more than 70 territories worldwide.
