HBS TO DELIVER 2006 FIFA WORLD CUP™ IN WIDESCREEN HDTV   (15/12/2003)

Frankfurt, December 05, 2003 - Host Broadcast Services (HBS), the dedicated host broadcast company of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™, has announced at the First Broadcast Information Meeting that the event will be covered in wide-screen (16/9) HDTV digital format.


HBS to host Broadcast Information Meeting in Frankfurt on December 05, 2003   (01/12/2003)

A Broadcast Information Meeting (BIM) will be staged by HBS at 10:00 a.m. on December 05 at the Congress Centre / Messe Frankfurt at which HBS will unveil the 2006 Production Plan and standards. Broadcast Partners and accredited Media representatives are welcome to attend.


HBS sets up major production at FIFA World Youth Championship   (15/11/2003)

HBS, following an eventful year host broadcasting the FIFA Confederations' Cup in France with TF1, the FIFA U-17 World Championship in Finland with YLE and the FIFA Women's World Cup with MLS/CBT in the United States last month, is back on the job again.


FIFA World Cup™ 2006 Germany: Full Stadia Inspection Tour Successfully Completed   (12/05/2003)

The first full FIFA inspection tour of all 12 stadia in Germany has just been successfully completed. The venue tour enabled FIFA, FIFA Marketing, OK2006 representatives, Infront and HBS to inspect progress at the 12 FIFA World Cup™ stadia.
