FIFA appointed Host Broadcast Services (HBS) as the host broadcaster for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ and the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup as well as the Other FIFA Events (OFEs) 2007-2010.

For the OFEs, HBS’ role varies from coordination, to producing specifications for a local Host Broadcaster to organising all aspects of the broadcast operations.

The following OFEs are taking place in 2010:

  • FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Germany (13 July - 1 August)
  • FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Trinidad and Tobago (5-25 September)

    Media Rights Licensees (MRLs) are invited to access the FIFA TV Extranet for detailed operational information.

    * Please note that all technical booking related documentation including Booking Order Forms (BOFs) must be returned to HBS.
