🔐 What you’ll do
As an IT Security Analyst, you will play a key role in protecting HBS’s IT infrastructure, cloud services, endpoints, and identities across both corporate and live-event project environments.
You will operate with autonomy on day-to-day security activities while contributing to the continuous improvement of HBS’s global security posture.
Your responsibilities will include:
Security Monitoring & Incident Response
- Monitor security events across endpoints, identities, email, network, and cloud environments
- Detect, analyse, and respond to security incidents end-to-end (containment, remediation, root cause analysis)
- Maintain clear incident documentation and contribute to post-incident reviews
Identity, Endpoint & Cloud Security
- Implement and maintain security controls for endpoints and identities (access policies, authentication, device compliance)
- Monitor identity-related risks and endpoint security events
- Support secure configuration and adoption of cloud services in line with internal standards
Security Posture & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to vulnerability remediation follow-up and optimisation of security controls
- Maintain security documentation, runbooks, and procedures
- Participate in the evaluation, deployment, and validation of security tools
✅ This job is for you if…
- You have hands-on experience in IT security operations, ideally in a SOC, blue team, or security analyst role
- You are comfortable working with Microsoft security environments (Defender, Entra ID, Intune); SIEM/SOAR exposure is a plus
- You have a solid understanding of security fundamentals, attack techniques, and incident response lifecycles
- You enjoy analyzing alerts, separating real threats from false positives, and taking ownership of incidents
- You are curious, proactive, and motivated by constantly evolving threat landscapes
