Purpose of the Job

The ERP and Back-Office Applications Manager has a key technical and organizational role within the Platforms and Solutions.  He/she is responsible for ensuring that both our ERP system and our low-code / no code solutions align with our business requirements.

He/she interacts with HBS stakeholders to identify the needs, challenges and opportunities, lead the functional analysis, identify options and support the decision making (market solutions, internal developments in low/no code, hybrid solutions etc.).

He/she ensures that our portfolio of solutions is designed, developed, tested, implemented, maintained, documented, and evolves according to the needs of our company and end-users as well as to state of the development industry standards.

Under the supervision of the Head Of Platforms & Solutions, he/she will manage a team of 3 (ERP Business Analyst, Internal Solutions Analyst and BI Specialist), while working closely with other resources of company to ensure the best integration of solutions under its responsibility within the company eco-system (functionally and technically).

He/she will manage external providers and specialised resources required by our portfolio of solutions.

As his first key assignment, he/she will manage the deployment of a new ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) for HBS.

Main Duties & Tasks

  • Maintain and develop HBS ERP and back-office applications :
    • Lead the implementation and configuration of ERP systems to meet business requirements:
    • Enterprise Architecture: design and implement integrations between ERP systems and other business applications.
    • Develop and maintain ERP system policies, procedures, and documentation.
    • Oversee user training and support to ensure effective utilisation of ERP systems.
    • Ensure smooth transition from project to sustaining post implementation
    • Manage editors and vendors to ensure service delivery with the quality and timeliness expected
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
    • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
    • Stay up-to-date with ERP trends and best practices to recommend system enhancements.
    • Manage relationships with ERP vendors and other technology partners.
    • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
  • Collaborates with various stakeholders of the company in multiple areas of expertise to define the requirements, scope, and objectives of the internal solutions and align them with the strategic goals and envision of the company
  • Design and develop an innovative approach that addresses the
  • Manages the project lifecycle of the internal solutions, from planning and budgeting to testing and deployment to evaluation and feedback.
  • Ensure that the internal solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the quality standards and expectations of the users and the organisation, notably that all project users of our solutions are served according to their requirements.
  • Manages the roadmap of evolution for our internal solutions
  • Monitor and measure the performance and impact of the internal solutions, and provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement and optimisation

Position Relevant Skills

Technical skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in ERP projects with proven success in a management position for a full ERP deployment in a middle-size company. Please note: prior experience with MS Dynamics 365 implementation is preferred but not necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills and process design / functional specifications
  • Project management skills : Agile / Scrum and waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficient in various technologies and tools, such as MS Power Platform, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure, SQL, etc.
  • Good knowledge of Low / No code approach
