You have probably watched a football game at some point in your life. Well, if it was a World Cup match, it was likely filmed and produced by the HBS (Host Broadcast Services) team. We are involved in the production of the following events : FIFA World Cup 26™, FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™, Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 Australia.

Purpose

At HBS, we’re not just filming sports – we’re crafting unforgettable moments for billions of viewers! Our Production Department is the creative powerhouse behind major sporting events, combining technical excellence with innovative storytelling. We manage everything from pre-production planning to live broadcast execution, ensuring every moment is captured perfectly.

About the Role

Production Leadership & Innovation

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive production plan
  • Support the live editorial team on defining workflows and procedures to achieve world-class coverage
  • Lead the implementation of specialised cameras in coordination with Engineering department
  • Oversee event-time Production delivery both at venues and central operations

Team & Resource Management

  • Guide and support a team of project coordinators
  • Manage relationships with technical suppliers and contractors
  • Develop and implement staff training programs

Budget & Operations Control

  • Drive production budget forecasting and optimisation
  • Coordinate scheduling for centralised and stadium-based deliverables
  • Ensure seamless collaboration across all HBS departments

What makes a successful candidate?

  • Proven experience in production or broadcast environment with a focus on live production (OB and or centralised), preferrable in sports events
  • Strong project & supplier management skills in media production
  • Knowledge of broadcast production standards and equipment
  • Understanding of production workflows and processes
  • Experience with industry-standard software and tools
  • Team leadership skills and coordination abilities
  • Be fluent in English with excellent communication abilities
