Your Responsibilities
Strategic Tax Leadership
- Develop and monitor the tax framework for HBS Group’s international structure, aligning with global business strategy and risk management objectives
- Implement comprehensive transfer pricing strategies across all group entities
Operational Tax Management
- Provide expert guidance to Accounting, Finance, and Operations teams on all tax-related matters affecting daily business operations
- Oversee tax compliance, provisioning, and year-end audit processes across multiple jurisdictions
Risk Assessment & Advisory
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for all applicable taxes and provide strategic recommendations to minimise exposure
- Manage tax audits and negotiations with local tax authorities, ensuring favourable outcomes
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate tax forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning strategies
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and optimise their strategic utilisation
For this job you must:
- Have 6+ years of international tax experience with hands-on expertise in corporate and transactional tax matters
- Possess strong technical knowledge in transfer pricing, VAT/sales tax, and multi-jurisdictional tax compliance
- Demonstrate proven ability to translate complex tax concepts into actionable business guidance for non-tax professionals
Is it really for me?
Education & Experience
- University degree in tax law, fiscal economics, or related field
- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant international tax experience in corporate environments
- Background in Big 4 consulting with transition to in-house roles preferred
Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge of international tax law, transfer pricing, and transactional tax concepts
- Experience in multi-jurisdictional tax compliance and strategy implementation
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and their tax implications
